Over analyzing separates the body from the mind...

And, that's it.

First year of university checked off the to do list of life.
It's been a good year though, the highs were the highest they've ever been, but the lows have also been the lowest. In a way, it's been a year of extremes. But it's ended on a high note, and for that I'm grateful. I've got a bunch of personal projects lined up for the summer, one of which is to finally start filling up some sketchbooks. Library editions 1, 2 and 3 of Hellboy awaited me upon my arrival back in D.C, and I've just finished reading through them all. Mike Mignola has such wonderful style, and I'm feeling pretty inspired. I'm pretty excited to see what I can finish over the summer break, and I'll try and post everything I do up here, partly to document, and partly to force me to actually accomplish something. I'm such a procrastinator.

Anywho, methinks it's time for bed.

I'm so restless. Things seem to be slowing down schoolwise, which is surreal in itself, yet I can't shake the feeling that I should be taking care of something. I'm looking forward to going home and taking some time off, but all the same I can say I've enjoyed college immensely so far, with its highs and lows. I've got a number of inspiring ideas floating around in my head, and I'm itching to get started on them. We'll see if they'll go anywhere, but for now, the seeds are there, waiting to be planted. I'll have some more stuff to post up soon.

Thanks for reading!

Musings of Azatharth the First

Hey all,

this'll be where I'll be plonking some of my art and sketches, moreso as an archive for myself as well as for those who are interested in seeing some of my work. I'm an illustration student attending OCAD and I've done a number of illustrations for metal bands among other projects.
